"Rastas Never Die," recorded in 1986, was banned by S.A. censors. Recorded a duet with Sinead O'Connor over the internet. Was shot during a hijacking in Rosettenville, Johannesburg on Thursday 18 October 2007.

Every individual has a limit. Every community has a breaking point. Every country has a boundary; not the geographic, but the moral boundary that sets the outposts of our tolerance to the continued attacks on our civil liberties, personal freedoms and human rights.

If every individual, every community, every corporate and social collective in south africa looked in the mirror today, they would see that they are all far beyond their limits, their breaking points - but strangely don't recall seeing them approach, or watching them pass. We have been numbed and butchered into submission.

We have to look hard at ourselves to acknowledge this. We have to recognise our own personal journey past these limits before we can ever hope to stake out any shape of new moral boundary that might redefine who we are as a country, a nation, a people.

20 000 souls are murdered each year in our country. For us, as a community of brothers and sisters in music, we say that this moment is crime's tipping point. And we want the leaders we put in power to take notice, as we appeal for all other communities and individuals right here, right now, to join us in our demand that these elected officials honestly and unconditionally acknowledge this: Crime in South Africa is out of control. The people are frightened, confused, lost and hopeless. And angry. We have lost our hard-won freedom, our rights to live in peace. And that means, in any language, in any society, in any democracy - we are leaderless.
